Welcome to my E-Portfolio!

Hello there! This is Ian Turner, filmmaker extraordinaire welcoming you to my first blog post for my E-portfolio! I have been hard at work establishing the early cuts of a documentary about the Poplar Rates Rebellion of 1921. It's a very powerful story of the working class in one of London's poorest boroughs using their agency and local politics to make national changes. Each of the individuals that have been interviewed provided essential context and information needed to do this story justice. It is my hope by weeks end to have the full completed rough cut of the early section of the documentary, which covers the end of WW I up to the Rebellion.
