My name is Ian Turner, and I am a current ODU senior with a dual major of Cinema Production and Theatre. I have been active within the Hampton Roads film and theatre community for nearly two years now. With Theatre, I have been in three ODU Rep productions. For film, I usually am the Director, Writer, Producer, Sound Op, and Assistant Editor. Most of my body of work comes from competing in several regional 48hr film project competitions in Hampton Roads, Richmond, Washington D.C., and Baltimore.

This semester I have had the opportunity to work with Professor Deborah Wallace on her documentary project about the Poplar rates rebellion of 1921 in London, England. As Assistant Editor, I have been tasked with creating draft cuts of some segments for the full length documentary, and assembling and organizing the intake of additional footage such as archival photos and videos.
